Picture It .mix files

how can I convert old Microsoft Picture It ( .mix) files to .jpg or some other popular photo type?
Answer
Answer

Betty,

I failed to find a solution and had to get PhotoDraw installed on my old XP computer instead [the only OS I was able to install it on].  The mix format was discontinued after PhotoDraw / Picture It.

To save you some effort, here is the advice I found when searching for an alternative together with some potential solutions that I was not able to get working [but others claimed to have done so].

It was at that point that I realised I would not find a viable solution and dug out an old XP computer instead.
