New Debug file

[1011/110901.130:ERROR:directory_reader_win.cc(43)] FindFirstFile: The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3)

[1012/092554.526:ERROR:directory_reader_win.cc(43)] FindFirstFile: The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3)

Every time I open a pdf file via Microsoft edge, I get this debug file with the above given error code(s) in it. I tried deleting it but it comes up again when I open the same pdf or another pdf. Since then, while I am reading through my pdf, it takes some time to load the pages, i.e., the top and bottom of the pages become blank for a few seconds and then the writings appear. If I open another pdf without deleting the previously created debug file, a separate error code gets created in the old debug file. The debug files gets created for any pdfs that is opened via Edge. However, there is no such issue when I open my pdfs via Google Chrome- no loading problem or the debug file problem. I tried reinstalling edge, clean booting my computer and updating my system to the latest version, but the issue is still there. What should I do?

Hi, I have too! Hum!

Do you have Visual Studio code installed? I have some reports of it triggering the same.

Hello Sumit,

Thanks for replying. I do not have Visual Studio code or visual studio. For now, it seems like the debug file has stopped getting automatically created, but, the pdf loading problem is still there.

Thanks Eva. I just came to know that this PDF bug was resolved by the team a couple of days ago. Have you checked for updates on MS Edge?

Hello Sumit,

Thanks for replying.

Oh, I didn't know about updating edge. I updated it just now. The debug issue and the pdf issues are still there, with the same error code.

yep.

It is the same error code which gets created for that particular pdf you open.

ERROR:directory_reader_win.cc(43)] FindFirstFile: Le chemin d’accès spécifié est introuvable. (0x3) .....part will remain the same.

[1013/235404.071: ......part changes depending on the pdf you open.

Hi, after having updated Chrome, I just updated the debugger config file linked to chrome in vscode and the messages do not appear anymore. Hope it helps.
