Labels won't all print using Word 2013 mail merge

I have 450 address in a csv file to merge onto labels in Word 2013. Follow all the steps, tell it to merge all, and everything seems good. However, when I send the job to the printer, only the first two pages of labels will print.

Have found a work around but would like to be able to send the labels directly to the printer and have all of them print.

Any idea?

Hi,

Please provide us more information to assist you better.

  • How does the print preview look?
  • Are you able to print other files?
  • What workaround you have followed to print the file?

Refer to the suggestions in the following thread link for the similar issue and check if it helps:

Neither of these is at all relevant. For example, print previews with mailmerges are never a reliable indicator of what will print.

ms51449: If you send the merge to a new document, are all the records present? If not, there's quite possibly an issue with the first missing record. For example, fields (including unused ones) that contain double-quote characters tend to cause mailmerges to fail at that point.

Was a resolution ever identified for this? For me, it only happens when I use the Mail Merge Wizard sidebar and select "Print" from there. It prints all pages if I use the ribbon's Finish & Merge button and select "Print" from the dropdown. In both scenarios, I should be indicating that the merge is complete and to send all pages to the printer, but using the wizard always results in only 2 pages and using Finish & Merge prints all pages in the merge.

Help is appreciated!

Gwen

Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel)?

Thank you so very much! I had forgotten that I used this solution last year and it works great! I have over 350 labels to print for Christmas Cards and was not happy about only being able to get the first two pages to print. All 350 labels printed beautifully!
