Corrupted D3D10Warp.dll file need help Win 7

D3d10Warp.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error

I have tried all the fixes

Ran disc repair

ran scan disk from command prompt

ran  win7 repair

replaced the file with windows 7 generated new file during scan for errors

I only get the error when trying to play  MSflight simulator

I restored flight simulator to an early back up that worked okay but now that also gets the same error so its not a MSflight simulator problem

thanks in advance

Hi Zoranavic,

Do you get this error only when you try to play Microsoft Flight Simulator?

Have you made and changes to the computer?

Did you try running the system file checker scan from command prompt?

D3d10warp.dll errors are caused by situations that lead to the removal or corruption of the d3d10warp DLL file. In some cases, d3d10warp.dll errors could indicate a registry problem, a malware issue, like a virus infection.

Method 1

Let’s reregister the corrupted D3D10Warp.dll file

a. Type cmd in the start search box> right-click on Command Prompt > click Run as

     Administrator.
b. Type Regsvr32 D3D10Warp.dll
c. Click the OK button.

Method 2

You may also run System File Checker [SFC] scan on the computer which will replace the missing or corrupt files & check if the issue persists.

a. Type cmd in start search box. Right click on cmd in the Program list and then select the option Run as administrator.

Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.

b. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow

Method 3

Run the Microsoft safety scanner.

http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note:The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

Method 3

I would suggest you to uninstall reinstall Microsoft Flight Simulator

Uninstall or change a program

Holds good for Windows 7 also.

Hope the information helps. Please post back and let us know.
