1.Do
you remember making any changes to the computer?
2.Did
you try a different restore point?
First check to see if the suggestion provided by Lead3 above works. If not, you may check with these methods.
Method 1: Let`s try to check if Advanced Boot options
can help boot windows normally.
a)Restart
your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
b)Use
the arrow keys to choose Start Windows Normally in the Windows Advanced Boot Menu Options and then press ENTER. See if the computer boots normally.
Method 2: Check if system restore can help boot the computer.
Since you have already tried this, I would suggest you to try a different restore point this time.
a)Click
Start. In the search box, type “System Restore” (without quotes), and then, in the list of results, click System Restore.
b)On
the window that appears, click Next and select the date and time on which the computer booted successfully and click Next.
c)Wait
for the process to complete.
Method 3: If this does not work, then try performing
a startup repair from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRe). To get to the WinRe, follow these steps.
a)Restart
your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.
b)Use
the arrow keys to choose Repair your Computer in the Windows Advanced Boot Menu Options and then press ENTER.
