Facetime trys to dial calls through Teams program.

When I try to place a call from my MacBook the system trys to use the Teams program.  I keep getting an error message.  Is there a way to use Teams that does not interface with Teams when placing a call from either Contacts or FaceTime?  If so, how do I uninstall the calling feature in Teams?

Hi, I am an independent adviser and would like to help you resolve your issue.

check whether the default calling app is set to teams from setting you can follow the steps below

To change the default calling app on Mac, open FaceTime on Mac, select "FaceTime" > "Preferences" > "Settings".

Change the "Default" for calls to "FaceTime"

If that doesn't help then try reinstalling teams.

Hope this may resolve your issue. Feel free to post back if you need more help. I will be glad to help you.
