Snip & Sketch NOW has Window Mode
Snip & Sketch (version 10.1809.2964.0)
YAY!!! We have ALL 4 Modes, now!
I swear to all the gods & goddesses it wasn't there BUT, I just checked, again & it IS there NOW! S&S, NOW, DOES HAVE Window Mode, YAY!!!! The other additions in S&S Settings are cool, too. To clarify, w/ Print screen key used, S&S doesn't open, but, the screen shot is taken immediately & saved. No more need for Win+PrtScn.
Cheers,
Drew

What 4 modes? I see only rectangle, free form and full screen.

Window Mode is there now, also which, makes 4.
I swear I didn't see it, before & it was 1 of the 1st things I checked after installing 18272... but, w/out explanation, it IS there now.
I took this w/ it...
Look... see at the top, 4 choices:

It is funny as both show the same version number.

"Just got the update, and now have the 4 on my 18272.1000 but not on my 17763.107.
It is funny as both show the same version number."
Explanation:
18272 being an Insider Build has features 17763 does not. OR, to put it another way, NOR are they, indeed, using the same versions of, in this case, Snip & Sketch.
17763 has version 10.1807.2286.0
18272 has version 10.1809.2964.0
Another similar example is they have 2 different versions of Sticky Notes, too.
BTW, one can access their Sticky Notes via
https://www.onenote.com/stickynotes

I look in the Store and updates and they both have the same number.
I even rebooted the 17763 desktop just to see if it would change and it did not update.
Please not that I am in 17763.107 for Release Preview.

Honestly, you lost me at the mention of Ease of access.
Maybe, I didn't explain well or clearly. But, never say die...
1. IF one opens S&S and does a Snip and goes to … Print will (now) be bold & can be used to print
whatever the snip was. That said...
2. The point was, in S&S Settings one can see, Use PrtScn to open Screen Snipping. Ergo, what happens is IF one wants a (FULL) screen shot, it can happen by
just hitting the PrtScn key. 1st & only... but, just for screen shots.
No Ease of Access involved for either 1 or 2

Without turning this on when you hit the Print screen key you get nothing. If you want a Full Screen print you must hold down the Windows key and then hit the Print Screen key. With me that gets me a screenshot and the background in the same screenshot in File Explorer.

"must hold down the Windows key and then hit the Print Screen key"
That ^ was precisely one of the caveats I had mentioned. NOW, by using Snip & Sketch, if one does nothing but hit the PrtScn key, alone, a (FULL) screen shot is taken. Simple as that. And it is put (directly) into the Screen shots folder in Pictures OR they can be directed to Screen shots folder in One Drive.
This is NOT talking about the traditional Win+PrtScn for taking screen shots (nor anything in Ease of Access) which, certainly, can, still, be used... as oft w/ Windows there is more than one way to skin a cat.
I do trust you understand, now.
Cheers,
Drew

I just tried hitting the Print screen key and at the top of the screen was the Snip & Sketch bar and the partial screen snip was highlighted and not the full screen box. I let it take the snip and when I looked at it there was no header and there was no taskbar.
Am I doing some thing wrong?
