I forgot to add, I wonder who the 3rd person is, it's definitely not an MK fighter, he seemed dressed like a regular person. Who knows, I thought maybe it was somebody who games is coming out at the end of the summer to help promote it.

Could be Fujin. But we do know it is a male character or meant to look like one to throw us off the scent.

I doubt it's Fujin, if it was a charcter he created i think he would say because it wouldnt be a big surprise to fans really. I think it's a character not of Mortal Kombat. Even though It's just a shadow and it could just be there to throw us off but judging by Ed Boon's interview at E3 he was asked if another character out of the realm of MK would make it's appearance in a DLC (like Kratos) and Ed kind of stuttered and didn't give a direct answer (definitely didn't say no). Also he said he wasn't allowed to say who the other character was.

Yeah, but about the only games that are coming out that would be worth putting a character not part of the MK Universe would be Spider-Man and Batman. Gears of War dont think it would be from there considering Microsoft said no to any exclusive from their company. Either Boon hasnt decided who the last character is or he does but revealing it may **** alot of people off.

Pretty slick that Rain is finally confirmed. Can't wait for the man! Also, Tuesday can't come fast enough for Skarlet. She looks like she'll be a good character.

I get the feeling that the last character that will be revealed maybe a female one, they just put up that place holder probably to not give away the character and give time will reveal it. After all we do need more female characters and Boon had mentioned that Tanya maybe in the DLC on twitter.

He also mentioned that if these go well, there might be more DLC characters a bit later. So if Frost or Tanya or whomever doesn't make it as the final slot, we might see them later on if the DLC sells well enough and NRS wants to more.
