Up until this morning, speech recognition has been working fine (as well as it works), but now I receive this message: "Speech recognition could not start because the language configuration is not supported.The recognizer language must match the language of the user interface."
I have done a fair amount of searching and trying different solutions:
1. The language setting are all English US -- there are no other languages installed (i.e. there are no other choices in any of the drop down menus)
2. I tried running ctfmon.exe and adding it to the registry
3. I uninstalled the updates that installed yesterday:
KB4569745 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 2004, and
KB4566782 (OS Build 19041.450)
4. I changed and then changed back the locale setting
Nothing has fixed it.
I have Windows 10 Home 64 bit Build 19041
Anyone have any ideas?
