Skype translator is not working. I can not talk to anyone in Brazil or Columbia and they have the same problem .

The translator is not working and has been working all the way up to the date 01/13/2020 as we all knew for a month the Bot wold be gone but the translation still doesn't work AT ALL.  I have also had many issues from the Portuguese translating only to Portuguese not to english.  We have deleted the App and added it back on we are all on the newest versions.  We are using I phones and a 2018 Mac book Pro please send update as to when this will be repaired and if you know of the problem.

Thank you for replying so quickly but, they (Microsoft)  have been notifying us for a month that a new update was coming why was it not tested to make sure a seem less a transition.  When will an update come along are we talking days or months?

I contacted microsoft customer service about this matter.. They said they didnot know what i was ralking about. That skype was working fine..Now you tell me they are working on it. Why does customer service not know about the shut down. Are you ever going to get it working...I would like to hear from you...  Thank you for your time.  Ron Beasley

It has now been 2 weeks and this is still not resolved . Any idea when this will e fixed?  Are there any other options for an alternative programs to this or companies to use?

Maybe since this version of skype doesn't work properly you should allow earlier versions that did work with the translator bot to be downloaded, instead of uninstalling and reinstalling skype 100 times

Now why would that work when they took the bots away?  And that is not an option. Many people not just me are effected because of the new upgrade that never came.   the reason we were using skype anyways was because of the video translator.

Sorry I am not saying that is a working solution.  I was trying to post a reply to the moderator that was giving you an answer.  Nothing works.  I do know that the translator worked previously when we had a previous version of Skype before the current update that took the Bot away.  I want the old version everyone to have access to the older version of Skype that worked for me.  It seems that Microsoft does not offer this option.  Everyone must update to the version that the translator seems to be faulty on
