Windows 10 Photo - adding Text

Hi Dave,

I'm an engineer on the Photos app. Currently, there is no feature to add text to Photos in the Photos app. I will pass this feature request on to the team, but the best way for us to understand how many people would want this feature is to use the Windows Feedback app. If you submit this idea through the Windows Feedback app (which you can find by searching in the Search bar for "Windows Feedback"), other people can see it and vote for it. This is the best way for us to understand how we can best improve the app.

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

In Windows 10 photo App there is no such option to add text to the photo.

If you want to add any text to your photos, you can use Microsoft Paint app. Please follow the below steps.

1. In search tab type “Paint”, once you find double click on the app.

2. Import the Image which you want to edit.

3. Select Text edit option and add your text.
