* Original Title: Plugged in, not charging
I have a new Lenovo laptop (3 months old) with Windows 8.1. This week the battery is not charging - status is at 58% (plugged in, not charging). I have run every diagnostic that I can find and everything seems to be functioning properly. I have searched
the internet and this seems to be a common problem with Windows 7 and Windows 8. The AC power is fine as the computer works with the battery removed (it also works with just the battery but unless I can recharge that will not last long). Many forums on the
internet recommend uninstalling ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery which I tired, but it re-installs upon re-boot. Any help would be appreciated.
