People clearly agree that it takes more aiming skill in a Halo game to drop your enemy. Just as it takes faster twitch reflexes to drop your enemy in COD. What I find interesting it that the only game mode that resembles anything close to COD's bullet damage in REACH is the "Living Dead" game mode and it's always the mode with the most players. SWAT doesn't count due to it being a headshot game and nothing more.
It would be really interesting to play Halo with COD's bullet damage to a tee. Maybe even adapt to its control scheme too (personal preference). I would bet that the first Halo game to do this has a shot at matching COD's daily player count. Could this be done without compromising the integrity of Halo? Perhaps not, but I would imagine the player count would at minimum double.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, I'm simply looking at both communities and trying to understand what the majority want to play as gamers.
