PORTS (COM & LPT) do not appear on my new Windows 10 computer, even going to hidden devices

I am unable to see any Ports in device manager on new Win10 computer. USB connected weather station requires serial port to connect.

Hello Casper,

I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if this will help you in resolving the issue.

Connect the USB.
Open Device Manager.
Click on Action.
Select Add legacy hardware.
Click on Next.
Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), then click Next.
Scroll down, then select Ports (COM & LPT), and then click Next.
Select Manufacturer as your need, (in this case, select the standard type or default option), and then click Next.
Click Finish.

Inform us if there were any significant changes.
