Disable System restore with RegEdit in windows 7?

Im having trouble finding the Registry keys to modify/create/delete to disable System Restore in Windows 7.  I found a few possibilities online, but none seem to work.

This is one of them:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\SystemRestore]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\SystemRestore]

"DisableConfig"=dword:00000001

Thanks for your help!

I may be wrong but can't you do it more easily by just turning off System Restore as follows?

1.  Control Panel -- System & Security -- System

2.  Click System Protection on the left.

3. Under Protection Settings , click the disk, and then Configure

4. Click Turn off system protection .
