Only black screen after login, but task manager works

When I log into Windows 10, I only get a black screen. If I press ctrl+alt+delete then task manager when the login wheel spins, then I get task manager but no desktop, etc. (explorer.exe doesn't open even from task manager). If I open cmd and type "explorer.exe /f" the File Manager opens but no desktop. I can open Chrome and my other programs. After a few minutes, my desktop, taskbar, etc. show up. This really slows down my work and I have tried everything to fix it. (sfc /scannow, reinstalling the video driver from safe mode, etc.) Reinstalling the OS is not an option.

I said I have reinstalled the video driver but it didn't work. Also, I think that it has nothing to do with drivers because I can get my pc to work again after a few minutes.

Hello, I’m Virginia an independent advisor here.
Many users are having the same/similar problems & if you can log in via safe mode the solution is to turn off use sign-in info to auto finish setting up device after update or restart in Windows 10.
For Windows 10 (Version 1709), select the Start button, select Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, then make sure Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart is turned off.
For previous versions of Windows 10, select the Start button, select Settings > Update & security > Window Update > Advanced options, then select the check box next to Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update.
Another potential solution is to remove any USB devices (wireless mouse, keyboard, external hard drive/s) & wait to see if boot continues, if not then to restart with devices still disconnected (if possible).

Another thought is that the user profile has become corrupt & the solution is to create a new one within cmd prompt under task manager.
From the black screen press ctrl alt del to open task manager -> file -> run new task

type "cmd.exe" without quotes, and check the admin privileges box.

in cmd:

type:

net user /add [username] [password]

username and password without []

press enter, then type:

net localgroup administrators [username] /add

Once logged into the new account you should be able to access the old account’s folders to transfer personal files over to the new account.

Somebody... could find a solution??

Because I have a similar problem with my Lenovo Y50 with windows 10. But also Safe Mode is not working... I can spent several hours and it doesn't finish to load. Only works Power Shell Mode. I run chkdsk /f /r command , but the problem persist.

If I start windows 10 normally I know that is there the sign on screen..but I can see nothing... because the screen is all black. However I can get login guessing where I have to click... after that I only see the taskbar... but only works the options of right click with mouse, the left click doesnt do anything. I tryied to excute "Run command", "Task Manager"  but... I still can't see these windows because the screen is still black.....

What can I do??... please help
