Table of Authorities categories missing

I'm working with the Table of Authorities feature inserting a citation using Mark Citation on the References tab. However, categories 2-16 appear to be missing in the Mark Citation dialog box:

Has something changed in the newest version? I'm using Microsoft Word for Office 365 MSO (16.0.12527.20260) 32-bit, and my updates settings are set to apply all updates immediately.

When I mark that citation with the category Cases, it still embeds c=1 as the category in the TA code.

Where does this category list "live"? Is it something that can be fixed/updated?

What finally solved it was un-installing and re-installing Office, not via the uninstall function in Windows Settings > Apps (that attempt failed to restore the full list), but with the "nuclear option" uninstall tool linked at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Uninstall-Office-from-a-PC-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8.

Something clearly got corrupted behind the scenes.

I can't promise anything, since some branches of the product team may be more responsive than others, but some users who have reported feedback through the app (Send a Frown) have gotten a surprisingly rapid response.
