Uninstall Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update Lumia 640Lte

After updating my Lumia phone all message notifications stopped working, also email stopped functioning. How can I uninstall the update?
You have to use Windows device recovery tool tool back to the windows phone 8.1 and later with the upgrade advisor upgrade to w10 Mobile

Will it let you go back to the build number prior to 16236.35000 for Lumia 950 XL (which came with Windows 10 installed.)

I also have a Lumia 1520 which has been running W10 fine until last night. Whatever was pushed out last night took out our 3 mobile phones running Windows 10. The 1520 is on 15053.26000. I need to go back to whatever build was before that. Or before "last night."

So my question is will the software recovery tool take me back to the prior build for each device? I don't need to go "all" the way back - just one step back.

It is the same problem for all three devices (two 950 XLs and one 1520) - text sizing. You can mess around in Settings/Display as well as Ease of Access/More Options/Visual Option... but no matter what combo you come up with something is not doable. If you want your live tiles and home screen text to look alright the text sizing needs to be smaller - but then the Settings and Email is too small  to read "comfortably."  And regardless of that - the internet won't load content correctly...  for example, The Daily Mail and New York Post don't view correctly no matter what text sizing is selected - Mobile load or Desktop Load (as well as font sizing in Settings for Edge) makes no difference either.

What's sad - is every Windows 10 Mobile device in this home was running/loading and looking flawless before last night.

I don't use your cloud backup - so after the recovery tool each device will have to start from scratch. And since each device has the exact same problem after your "Anniversary Update" -  I don't understand why this update was released...

I performed the reset to factory settings, and backup phone first. Problem was solved, but I lost everything in my notes and some other data in other apps.

Thanks for letting us know that a wipe/reset worked for you... I have had trouble with email and notifications as well but was able to solve it by deleting the email accounts and putting them through the phone again.

I want to reset mainly for the browser problem - but you can't turn off automatic updates so I fear the Anniversary Update will automatically install again. The only way to keep updates from installing is to never use Wifi.
