My new RT is nice, but the touch screen only works part time. I can be using it and then it just stops reacting. Fortunately the mouse and keyboard still work. Has anyone else experienced this?
Power off the machine using the Power Button (hold for 20 seconds) wait a couple of seconds and hold the volume rocker down and press the power button, Surface Logo should appear and your touch screen should be working again.

I found out the fault or at least the way to correct it is that I went to the touch screen settings in control panel and reset the calibration setting.
I earlier re-calibrated the touch screen and I might have set the right side of the screen to far right to detect when the charm bar was being accessed, only thing I can think of.
