Second post as the first one deleted itself.
My Xbox is disconnecting from Xbox Live randomly and reconnecting within seconds.
It shows everyone disconnecting from the party and rejoining, whereas in fact I am the one who is disconnecting, because of this problem, and I return at the bottom of the party list.
It also happens during games, for example in Call of Duty Black Ops it says network disconnected; on other games such as Halo Reach it shows me the starting game screen and then reconnects me after a few seconds. During the whole of this time I am the only one seeing the screen, others in the party can continue playing.
I am using Halo Reach XBox Slim. THe first few months there were no problems, now this happens continually.
I have had earlier models of the XBox - 60gb and Elite - without these problems. The network into the house is the same.
I am using Devolo, to allow the in-house power lines to carry the network in place of ethernet or wireless. This is effective with other devices and is also the way I connected previous XBoxes - and was used successfully with this XBox until the current issue started..
