The Windows 8 Mail App crashes with a particular email

I have a specific email message that causes the Windows 8 Mail App to crash. There is no error message but the app closes and I am taken back to the start screen. When this email message was at the top of my inbox, the Mail App would crash every time I started it. Other emails do not cause this problem.

 

The email was received on an Exchange ActiveSync account and has HTML and a few attachments. However, similar emails do not cause the crash.

I can open the email OK in both Outlook and web mail.

 

I tried running the Modern Apps troubleshooter and reinstalling the Mail App. However, if I click on this email message, it still causes the Mail App to crash.

I am happy to provide the problematic email message if that would be helpful in troubleshooting the issue.

I had already updated the Mail App to the latest version and I tried reinstalling it. To clarify my question, I have the app crash with one particular e-mail message. I can view hundreds of other messages on the same account with no problem. But when I click on this one e-mail message then the app crashes. So there is something about the e-mail message that causes the Mail App to crash. I am thus wondering if I can provide you with the e-mail message so that you can test it. The message appears fine in other programs.
