Original Title: "windows 8.1" how to manage "corporate users" "windows store"
In Windows 8.x, how can a small company/business who is using Office 365, manage their corporate user's Microsoft Accounts which give them access to the Windows Store, Skype, OneDrive, etc.
Below is a summary of my understanding of Office 365 ID/account and a Microsoft Account.
Outook Office 365 - Office 365 ID
Lync - Office 365 ID
OneDrive for Business - Office 365 ID
Skype - Microsoft account
Windows Store - Microsoft account
Windows 8.x login - Microsoft account
OneDrive - Microsoft account
How can a small business manage a user’s Microsoft account?
How can a small business remove locally synced Office 365 OneDrive files and Outlook email cache from a Windows 8.x's Microsoft account?
A company is not going to want users logging into the company provided Windows 8 computers/device using their personal Microsoft Account. And a company is not going to want users accessing/syncing their personal OneDrive, or Skype account while using the companies corporate Windows 8 computers/device.
So I am attempting to understand how best corporate users can manage Windows 8 and the Windows 8 Microsoft Account?
So far it seems that companies who use Office 365 and do not want Windows 8.x users to use their own Microsoft accounts will need to create Microsoft Accounts for each user (using the user's Office 365 corporate email account) and manage these as a separate exercise to the user's Office 365 ID/accounts.
If there are better ways to manage Corporate Micosoft accounts that are required by Windows 8, please let me know.
