Can't find Internet Explorer

I've searched apps with bing but can't find IE any help gratefully accepted

Rusti,

From your home screen click on the My Games & Apps tile. If you scroll to the right you should find the Internet Explorer app. You can then click Menu and "Pin to Home". Hope this helps!

I just checked this out and yes, IE isn't possible to find in the store.

Thing is, i'm using IE on my X1 right now, and i can't for the life of me remember if i downloaded it or if it was pre-installed.

I have some suggestions:

Firstly go to "My games and apps" and scroll through the list to see if it is already installed - or say "xbox go to internet explorer"

Secondly, i have heard that by changing your system locale to USA (Settings, System) you can browse the american marketplace. Maybe you can download it from the U.S apps store.

Lastly, if none of the above work, then i can only guess that IE absense from the store is a glitch in the system, and i suggest checking the store over the next few days to see if it has popped back up.

How to connect to IE and Pin to Home on Xbox One without Kinect

If you click apps, select the Search tab, search IE. Now it will inform you that it cannot find anything related to what you are searching for "but" you can choose from their selection of apps to search for this result. the third option is IE. Click the IE tab, once that opens press your Start button and two options down is the tab for Pin to Home. Select this and you will now be able to access IE with an Bing search engine on your consoles starter interface. Aside from this, I am unsure of other methods for accessing IE directly other than Kinect through voice commands. I truly hope this was helpful. A simple search led me to this forum and I decided I needed to figure it out as well ;)
