Replace Rubber Feet

Hi, am wondering if anyone was able to replace the rubber feet on the bottom of the SB? One broke in pieces and the second one is almost off too.

Hi Natalie,

The parts of a device may wear off easily if it's not handled very well or if there was a manufacturing problem. What I suggest you do is take the device to a Microsoft Store to have it checked by a technician.

I also recommend that you check if your Surface is under warranty by going here. You can also register it for warranty if you haven't done so.

Let me know if you have other questions.

"This seems to be a very common problem with the Surface Book. The Microsoft  Community website is testimony to this fact. The supplier of the rubber feet to MS would seem to not have been properly vetted.  Things happen, that's OK. What's not OK is that Microsoft is hunkering down, head in sand -"what problem? the feet are not critical".

All it would take is for Microsoft to make these avaiable two rubber strips available - at cost even, no big deal - via mail / courrier.

How bloody short-sighted! They elect to alienate customers, some of who might not buy another device because of such a small issue. Certainly leaves me with a bad impression of corporate MS.
