Hi,
We use a third party app developed for us in order to receive subcontractor time sheets. It's basic process is the subbie logs their work details and emails through the information for the week. The app compresses the data into an mp4 file (used for ease of transfer), attaches it on to an email using your preferred client, and it is sent directly to our mailbox.
Now the issue - We've made a recent update to the app which is now preventing it from running through Outlook, but only on Samsung tablets. Every time you try and create the email it says 'Unable to attach files and photos. Outlook needs access to the files and photos on your device to attach them. You can grant this permission in Settings.' However, i have allowed all permissions on both the Outlook app and our Third party app on my tablet. Our developer has tried changing the file type the app produces to a .tsd (something he created) and it still issues the same warning. The .tsd file is created and saved on the tablet and can be emailed through Outlook by finding it on the tablet, just not via the third party app. We have subcontractors on other android devices that can send the files over fine and it works on my Samsung phone with Outlook, just not the tablet version.
Does anyone have any idea why the tablet version of the Outlook app would work differently?
