signing in to one drive with sync issues

I have a pop up which keeps demanding I sign into one drive on my pc butg the e-mail it asks for is one I deleted and there is no account under that e-mail so when I type in  the current e-mail account for Microsoft it just circularly directs me back to sign in with the ole defunct e-mail account it gives an error message;error code 0x8004de34. How can I resolve this issue.

One of the possible reasons why you're getting an error message when trying to sign in to OneDrive is because the account that is associated with the program is different from the new account. To assist you with your concern, we suggest that you unlink OneDrive on your PC to properly re-enter your account and to re-establish the good syncing status.
