.NET Framework 3.5 and 2.0 installation issue

Hello,

I'm using Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 (OS build 18362.1)-

I'm trying to install .NET framework 3.5 and 2.0 feature, but somethings go wrong and I received the error

Update NetFx3 of package Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 failed to be turned on. Status: 0x800f0950.

Could someone help me to fix this issue.

Thank you and regards

Giuseppe

Answer

I've solved the issue installing last build of OS from Windows Update.

With all due respect, you cannot solve it by installing a new build. Simply because .Net Framework 3.5 is not enable by default, you have to manually turn it on via "Turn Windows features on or off"

I apologize if I haven't been clear :) I've solved the issue installing the KB4497464. As describe here https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2019/03/20/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-18362/ "We fixed an issue where users were unable to enable\disable .NET Framework or other optional feature- on-demand (FODs) after installing recent Cumulative Updates."

Giuseppe
