Windows 8 Video HArdware error

I recently installed windows 8 on my alienware M14x. Today when I started my laptop I could see nothing but a black screen. After doing a hard reboot , I found 8 Video hardware errors in reliability history. I am sure it has nothing to do with hardware because everything was perfect on windows 7. Can you help me out? Here is technical detail of error

Hi Ricky,

From your issue description, I understand that You getting black screen after installing video hardware. Please let me know if you are not facing this issue.

What is the make and model of the computer?

Try the following Methods.
Method 1

I would suggest you to perform system restore using Windows 8 DVD.

Perform system restore to previous working date.

b. Once you get the welcome screen of installation with the option “Install now”

c. Click on Repair your computer

d. On the next page click on Advanced Options

Method 3
Once you are able to boot to the desktop, I would suggest you to install video hardware in compatibility mode.

a) Download the Video Hardware drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

b) Right-click on the driver and click on ‘properties’.

c) Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7 operating system from the drop down.

I have the same problem.
My first OS was WinXP PRO
Because it is old I upgraded to Win7Ultimate
When I upgraded to Win7, after one week I were playing BFH (Battlefield Heroes).
I play the game at it's default settings (medium details 1024*768)
Then after 10 minutes of playing my PC restarted.
After this I opened the Action center to see what's the problem and it says that this restart wasn a ''Video Hardware Error''
Then I upgraded to Win8Enterprise with the hope that error will dissapear.
I fully reformated my HardDisk losing all my data.
After this I installed the game and start playing with the same details.
The error still remains on my system and I don't know what to do.
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME !!!
Graphic Card:
nVidia GeForce GT 430 1GB VRAM.
(got it from RLeadtek).
