1TB Toshiba "D" Drive disappeared today after trying to add it to a pool.

Here is screenshot of my disks.  I have a 250gig SSD for operating system and programs.

The "D" drive has all my photographs and family documents on it.

Tried disk management scanning and it doesn't find anything.

Hi Christopher,
I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

I see the disk has unallocated space, which may mean the data is lost :(

Did you do this?

Hello Sumit,

I only attempted to create a pool, but a pop up appeared saying the function cannot be performed.  So I just quit the effort.

I'm baffled how just doing that could've either reformatted or wiped my hard drive?
