Tegra 3 for Microsoft Surface RT does not feature the 4 plus 1 feature, a update for the processor is under development but when will it likely come?

I have been researching on the Tegra 3 features and one of its main features called '4 plus 1 Quad core with 5th battery saver' is not compatible with windows rt yet, I have been researching and found out an update  is to come to enable this feature for Windows RT. However there is no official news of it coming to Windows RT devices but only from the Nvidia website saying 'Windows RT compatibility under development'. Does anyone know about this update and if possible when would it arrive for Surface RT.

Answer

You will probably have to keep up with the news at Nvidia's web site for that one.  They will be the creators of that upgrade which will then be sent to Microsoft for testing and incorporation with Windows Update.

Maybe one of the techs from Microsoft who read/comment here on the forum could probably shed more light on it.
