Hello all,
I have been getting Memory Management blue screens for the past week. The blue screens have some patterns. Upon my initial boot of the computer, I almost always get a bluescreen right after I type in my password and enter into Windows. However, after the restart because of the bluescreen, the computer can potentially run fine for hours. Other than the common boot BSOD, bluescreens within the OS itself are less frequent but do happen. Once, it bluescreened in the middle of a shutdown.
I've tried checking for outdated drivers (via device manager - no avail), including graphics cards drivers. I've run a Windows Memory Diagnostic which returned no errors and I also ran Memtest86 (4 passes), which also showed no errors. Suspecting the error might have been in the hard drive, I ran chkdsk, sfc scannow, and tried to clean up the hard drive which still has not fixed my problem.
Right now, I suspect the error may be in compatibility of programs or a virus. I haven't had an antivirus for a few weeks as my subscription expired, and hadn't gotten around to renewing it. I have just recently renewed it and ran a full system scan, but no issues were found that solved the problem. Regarding compatibility, I haven't downloaded anything that could've caused compatibility issues (after looking at my recently downloaded applications), but it may be a possibility.
If you have any ideas, all help would be greatly appreciated!
