How do I prevent Skype from auto-installing without permission

No problems until a few days ago; then skype magically appeared without any input from me.  I goto apps and uninstall Skype, easy-peasy (you get 1, MS).  THE NEXT DAY its back.  Unfortunately, I'm on win10 Home so all the gpo and getapp stuff doesn't work.

Is this a bug that is being worked on or is there something I can do to prevent it from autoinstalling WITHOUT ANY INPUT FROM ME WHATSOEVER.   (This is really NOT cool, MS)

Hi Dauvin

Currently there is no such option available preventing new versions of Skype from installing.

The Skype for Windows 10 UWP App comes packaged with the OS. Usually when you uninstall the App it should not reinstall. There are instances that may trigger an install. This may range from new users signing in on the computer to your OEM build of Windows 10 being configured to do so. If it is due to the OS build, you can always try to download and install the latest build of Windows 10 to see if it corrects this behavior. If you are already running the latest or are unable/unwilling to update, you can try my removal tool. Simply select the Skype for Windows App, then click remove. This should stop any reinstall from occurring. Every major update to a newer build of Windows 10 will still reinstall default apps like Skype. When that occurs you will have to uninstall it again. Either the normal uninstall will work or my tool will.
