I really have to ask this. As an Insider member of the XBox One Preview program, and owner of an XBox One X, I really have to ask if Microsoft actually are listening to us users? Several times, I have sent both report of problems or "bugs", and even mentioned on xbox.uservoice.com in several threats what need to be done to improve things. I will list them up here. It's up to the admins how they want to inform Microsoft...Ok, here we go...
1. Latest XBox One Preview shows a "misleading" information in the video settings, claiming that a TV like my Samsung SUHD JS8505 48" inches TV, doesn't support 4k at 60Hz for XBox One X Enhanced games. This is ironic, because all marks are coloured GREEN, meaning that my TV (2015-model upgraded with latest Firmware version 1510) DOES support both 4k and HDR at 24Hz, 50Hz and 60Hz. My TV is connected directly to HDMI Port 1 in the One Connect Mini Box. UHD HDMI Color is ACTIVE. So everything is right!
2. Now we get to the very important issue. Game DVR has been improved yes, and you can record Game DVR in 4k HDR at 60fps, even from external HDD up to 1h, but HERE is the problem. Currently, you CANNOT edit Game DVR stored on external HDD in Upload Studio, nor share it with Facebook, OneDrive, Twitter or XBox Live. Most of us want to edit Game DVRs stored on external HDD in Upload Studio, as this is the most straightforward, easiest and most impressive video editing app for XBox. It's only natural that external Game DVRs should be edited in Upload Studio as well. Having the Game DVRs up to 1h edited in Upload Studio should be fairly easy, and what isn't easier to do that from external HDD? Something to seriously think about...
3. The new UI feels very much incomplete and "pain-in-the-****" for many of us users. It seems that this new UI was FORCED upon us, rather than ASKED FOR. Why not have the option of choosing different UI made for XBox? All made for the best of XBox One, of course? This would really improve things...
I really think Microsoft should seriously start listening to us users, rather than getting crazy ideas that only appear embarrashing...
