I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.
Recent updates in March caused some printers to crash and print incorrectly.
Microsoft is already aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
As a workaround, Please try uninstalling the recent March updates
Press Start then click Settings(Gear icon)
Select Update and Security > View update history
Click Uninstall Updates
Under Microsoft Windows, select the most recent updates then Click Uninstall
Note: Find KB5000802 in the list and uninstall it first
Wait for the updates to uninstall
Restart your PC
Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.
Sincerely,
John DeV

Is there a patch or a fix yet for the issues caused by the KB5000082 update? This update keeps automatically installing on my computer every couple of days and causes my computer to crash when I try to print, when I try to copy and paste text into Excel and once when I just tried to open Excel. I would think after a month, there should be a fix! I try to remember to check to see if it needs to be uninstalled each morning, but some days I have to dive right into work and forget until I get the "blue screen of death" at the most inopportune moment.
Already there. Please install the optional update manually available on your device. I have given the manual links here too which you can use. KB5001649 is what you need to install.
