How to "Allow Cookies" using Windows Edge VERSION 44.17763.1.0

I have what "appears" to be a variation in instructions as to "ALLOW COOKIES" when attempting to change matters around.

I am LOST somewhere along the way so my question is quite simply this

Would someone please look at the above VERSION and EXPLAIN HOW and WHERE I NEED to LOOK for the simple instructions to ALLOW COOKIES.

Pictures etc would be MOST appreciated

Thanks

Kind regards

Jim

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. You will please forgive an old man, having stated that I am using Windows EDGE and Specifically the above version. I have already looked at comments regarding WINDOWS EXPLORER in the past.

I am NOT using Explorer as I have had disaster after disaster with a variety of problems with saved data for ease of connection.

I do NOT understand "how" there is any connection between the two when only Edge is ACTIVATED on my system.

Every "solution" that I have seen "seems" to refer to the 3 … and access to "Settings" then to a variety of paths to get to "ADVANCED SETTINGS" to change things around.

NONE of these instructions bear any resemblance to what I see when I press the ...

They all seem to refer to a totally different build.

It is so frustrating

Hope that this clarifies matters a bit

Thanks

Kind regards

Jim

It is so frustrating Hope that this clarifies matters a bit Thanks Kind regards Jim Further to my comments above This is what has been suggested before Block or allow cookies If you don't want sites to store cookies on your PC, you can block cookies. But doing this might prevent some pages from displaying correctly, or you might get a message from a site letting you know that you need to allow cookies to view that site. Hide All To block or allow cookies in Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 10 In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.Select the Privacy tab, and under Settings, select Advanced and choose whether you want to accept, block, or be prompted for first-party and third-party cookies.   To block or allow cookies in Internet Explorer 10 or earlier In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.Select the Privacy tab, and then under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or the bottom to allow all cookies. Select OK.   By following the pictures from the top you will I hope see what the problem is with the potential solutions shown by other kind helpers. My Edge build is shown above and bears NO resemblance to anything previously presented. I hope that this explains how frustrating it is to walk the same set of instructions again and again. Thanks  & Kind regards Jim

Sorry, let's try to:

Open Edge browser.
Click on the 3-dotted 'More' link to open its Settings.
Scroll down and click on View Advanced Settings.
Again scroll down till you see the setting for Cookies.
When here, from the 3 options, select one.

Sorry Your instructions fail at this point as when I open the COG (Settings) on MY VERSION of EDGE

I get this window

followed by this  after the scroll down (Had to split the screen dump due to size)

There is NO "ADVANCED SETTINGS" title on this section

VERSION 44.17763.1.0  differs - hence my problem and I do NOT think that I will be alone in this as I think ALL future builds will be a variation from this point onwards the "1.0" seems to infer this.

Kind regards

Jim
