SP4 battery bulge, screen separating

Split from this thread.

I have the same issue.  Screen is separating from bottom edge.  I keep pushing it back in and it stays for a bit then pops out within an hour or so.  I have Surface Pro 4.

Microsoft provided great customer service. They sent me a replacement unit with the exact same specs of my defective one, and this even though my unit was a couple of years old when the screen started bulging. They had to do it through the mail because my local Microsoft store would not do it. So I'm all set and thoroughly enjoying my new Surface Pro 4 replacement. :-)

It is dangerous to use if the battery causes a screen bulge. There is risk of explosion.
