I had no problem with my GameTag for years. now I just bought the new game Ninja Gaiden 3, and wanted to play it online with random people. However when I try to use in-game marketplace, online pass, and Clan battle(multiplay), it gives an message as "You cannot use this online service due to the Parental Control settings on your Xbox Live account."
I've been searching all over the place.
First of all, I have only this one gametag, and it's not a child account so I can't "promote" it;
second, I've never set any restrictions on my account manually, so i've never touch the privacy settings or whatever;
third, the Family setting was never touched, although I did turn it on, and put the "games" setting to rating M, as the support document suggested. None of these works.
After these attempts, I created a test gametag, and I have no problem using any in game features. but I can't use it because the game came with a online pass that is now tied to this gametag.
So what now? there's something wrong with my account, yet i don't have any problem using the marketplace outside of that game. Anyone know what's going on with my account? or is there anyway to transfer purchases from one gametag to another?
