Windows 10 Installer OOBE errors

I incorrectly installed Lubuntu on this laptop and critically damaged Windows 10. I've removed Lubuntu and downloaded the Windows 10 Media Creation tool and used it to create a Windows 10 installer on what is effectively a flash drive. It's actually an 8GB SD Card in a USB adapter, but the BIOS recognized it I guess and it installed the installer and removed Lubuntu. When I boot the computer, it boots into the installer. Everything seems to go as planned until I get to the basics tab, which, admittedly isn't very far, but then it says "Something went wrong" and the code OOBEKEYBOARD. If I try again, it says the same thing but I can skip it. Eventually there's another error under the Network tab that has the error code OOBELOCAL. This one I cannot skip and trying it again yields the same result. If anyone can help, lmk.
Hello,

I'm your Independent Advisor for today. I know this can be frustrating, but don't worry. I'm here to figure this out for you.

You can try starting a command prompt to the Out-of-the-Box Experience screen (where it's should be asking you to select a keyboard layout) and create user accounts to continue the install:

1. On the OOBEKEYBOARD error screen, press Shift + F10 to open the Command Prompt.
2. Enter these commands one at a time. After each, select Enter. Let the command complete before typing the next command.

net user Administrator /active:yes
net user /add user_name mypassword
net localgroup administrators user_name /add
cd %windir%\system32\oobe
msoobe.exe

4. Once done, turn the computer off and turn it back on. The setup process should continue and will sign you in to the built-in administrator account. You can sign out to the administrator account and sign in to the second local account you created and add your Microsoft account.

Hope this helps.
