I have installed windows 10 my Asus Ep121 and everything works beautifully. However today Windows installed a 3rd party update, egalaxtouch, an HID touchscreen driver, that completely disabled the touch function of my tablet. The pen worked as designed
but touching with a finger or gestures were disabled. The cursor remained on the screen and would follow my finger opening and closing blue squares. After many Google queries, 4 hours of my time, and help from a friend I was able to go back to the previous
HID touchscreen driver and everything worked again. The up date is not listed in the " uninstall updates " and there seems to be no way of removing it. I am afraid that it will just reinstall the next time windows updates. Any ideas on how to prevent this
happening? I am not sure I like the idea of having no choice about updates, particularly non- Windows ones.
