Where is the main.db file for new skype???

Alright, as the title says I would like to know where the main.db file for the 'new' skype is on windows 10-or if it uses the same folder as the 'old' skype.

During the recent skype update, I lost a good chunk of conversation history and chats(most of which had very important messages)and when booting up the main.db file located in %appdata%\Skype and browsing it in sql lite, I found most of my recent convos were missing from the file?

It can't be because of my settings or temp history-because there is no option for saving old messages in the new skype like in the old version.

With the latest version 12.X update to the new Microsoft Skype for Windows 10 (Skype UWP) application, the procedure for how and where the messages are saved has changed quite dramatically. There is no documentation or explanation of the new procedure, so everything what I know is based on own (still very limited) observations.

The local settings are now available in this folder:

%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.SkypeApp_kzf8qxf38zg5c\LocalState\<Skype Name>

The well known main.db file is still present in this folder, but it is no longer used to save chat messages. Also other data used to be saved in this database file are now missing.

Instead, the new Skype UWP application is now using another database file, skype.db. Inspecting this database file with a SQLite browser, shows that the chat messages are now saved in this file in the messages Table, but under different headings.
