No Sound Detected after update windows 10 version 2004

Hello
I had a problem after updating to the 2004 version
After the update, it no longer finds the Realtek sound card, as if it is not connected at all
While the laptop sound card is on the board
I tried to fix this problem manually by installing the latest version of the driver, but I encounter a death screen during installation.
Should I wait for the update or is there a solution ??

Hi Ali,

My name is Jocelyn, an independent advisor happy to help you.

Please try the following fix and see if it heps you:

1. Run a Troubleshooter

Search for and open Control Panel.
Click Troubleshooting.
Under Hardware and Sound, click Troubleshoot audio recording.
The Sound troubleshooter opens. Click Next. The troubleshooter begins checking the audio service status.

The troubleshooter will find and fix problems with Sound.
Do the same process for Video Playback under Windows.
Restart your computer once completed and check if you will get the same issue.

2. Update Drivers for your graphics and audio.

In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
Expand the category for Sound, video and game controllers.
Right-click the name of the sound hardware, and then select uninstall.
Go back to Device Manager.
Expand the category for the Display driver.
Right-click on the name of your display driver, and then select Uninstall.
Restart your computer once it's completed.
Go back to the Device Manager window, click Action > Scan for hardware changes. This should let Windows automatically detect the sound driver and display driver.

If it doesn't work. Please follow the suggestions on the following Microsoft article below:

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Best,
Jocelyn

Microsoft has confirmed that there is some sort of  issue on old machines with audio drivers .  Even i also encountered with this problem but hopefully i get the problem and solved by installing old driver version on Windows 2004 version......

Did you resolve your problem with sound?  I just just rolled back to version 1909 and all is fine.  I would rather just keep using a functional version of Windows 10 rather than update.  Microsoft should ensure the update is good to go before launching and creating so many problems for subscribers and customers.  They should cease this launch.

The problem is that there is no driver called Realtek in the list of drivers at all. When I went back to the previous version of Windows, there were other problems.

My device model: Asus TUF FX-505GE

Thanks to the support team and the friends who helped me solve my problem.

I have the same problem and I'm unsure about how to go back to older versions or whether that would damage other files or functionality, Thank you.

Sorry, but none of those suggestions worked. And are you aware that the link you provided is broken?

This is a serious problem. Changing to version 2004 has made it so there is no sound. What are we supposed to do?

Thank you! The roll back worked! I have sound again!

My computer is a Dell desktop that is less than a year old. Unbelievable that Microsoft didn't check that the sound works after their "upgrade"

Here is how I did the rollback:
