everytime I try i get this issue - because "hardware acceleration is disabled"
but my "hardware acceleration" is enabled and before it's work fine.
My OS - win10 1903 build -18362.239.

I checked  the user in another laptop its work fine, so the problem not in the user.

Hi Eliohayon,

May I know which Teams desktop client version are you using?

Please update the Windows 10 latest build 18362.267 and make sure that app is latest updated. See Update Microsoft Teams

Try to check this issue, by performing a clean boot in Windows. (This will helps eliminate whether the issue is caused by software conflicts.)

You can try to remove and reinstall the Teams app to check this issue. See Uninstall Microsoft Teams

You may also try to check this issue via creating a new Windows 10 user account and performing a clean install the latest version Teams client to see whether the problem still occurs.

If you still having problem then please provide us with the detailed Teams log files via the Private Message for further analysis.

Best regards,
Shyamal

Hi there,

I would like to comment this is happening to 3 employees so far in our company. Tried forcing nvidia / amd graphics to run it, change miscellaneous graphic settings, made sure they were up to date and am still getting the "your hardware acceleration is disabled". Any help with this matter is appreciated.

Thanks,

~Tyler

Hello All,

First of all, the Graphics hardware for Teams app needs more than 128MB, so please double-confirm if your device can meet the Teams hardware requirement or not? Note: To use the Teams app normally, please strictly comply with its hardware requirements.

If not, please login to an available device to check it again.

If so, as per the error message, seems this issue is related with the Windows system, please try adding the below registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\: Create a new DWORD DisableHardwareAcceleration key with the value 1 which will disable the hardware acceleration, then change the value from 1 to 0 to enable it to see if issue persists. Note: Please backup your registry firstly. Reference.

Feel free to let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Rudy

Hi Rudy Xu MSFT,

I check the Graphics hardware for Teams app needs more than 128MB its work fine before.

and I create the regkye -  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\: Create a new DWORD DisableHardwareAcceleration

and this not work.

A week ago it worked out and again it returned the same error.

Thanks for the help waiting for an answer

Hello Eliohayon,

Thanks for your reply.

Please retry that registry key with this parameter DisableHWAcceleration to see if issue persists. For your reference:

Disable Hardware Acceleration Option

Meanwhile, please change all the hard devices like mouse, keyboard, audio & video device to check it as well. And please also update the DirectX to 9.0 or higher.

Moreover, please let us know that are there any other media issues except this sharing issue?

The next action is that we will continue to consult with our related team for this case. Thanks for your patience.

Regards,

Rudy
