Fake hotmail account?

I purchased goods from what i "thought" was a bone fide dealer, they said my payment was accepted and would show up in my bank account as F******* which i have found out is a Chinese name, i have been trying to contact the name of the company to see when i would get my delivery, they have never replied, so i got suspicious, ,reading through the blurb, i noted a hotmail.com address which i have e mailed and again with no response, how can i check if this hotmail address is 100% real.I think i have been "had"
