Hi RSB3107,

If you cannot open Wiki in Teams for Android app, it could be related with the network of your phone. When you try to open Wiki, Teams will try to connect the Wiki cloud service via SharePoint site in the back end. If the connection fails, you won't be able to open Wiki. In this scenario, please try to connect to different network to check if the issue persists. Besides, you can also use VPN to check if the Wiki opens.

While if the issue still exists, please try to clear Teams app data via Settings > Data and storage. Meanwhile, you can also reinstall the app to check if it makes any difference.

Regards,

Marvin

HI Marvin I tried changing networks (different wifi's, 4g, VPN).  This DIDN'T work.

I reinstalled Teams, now I can't access the wiki at all with the message "Getting Wiki Ready...".  The position is now worse than before.  Please can you re-open my question and advise how I get the Wiki back and open hyperlinks?

Hi RSB3107,

Thank you for the updates. I've contacted with our back end engineering team. And recently they have an known issue of Teams Wiki on Android devices reported by our customers. They're still investigating this issue.

In this scenario, you can refer to the private message to further look into this issue.

Regards,

Marvin

Hi fiona. I raised a ticket with Microsoft. They gave me an unhelpful response and ever since then nothing. It's VERY frustrating as i need this for a project. I find Microsoft very unresponsive and they don't put the customer first

Hi marvin the wiki links still don't work. Is there an update on this fault. Clearly other users have the same problem, so  you can't ignore it?

This issue seems to have been reintroduced in the latest version of the (Android) app [V1416.1.0.0.2021011302].

Since the update, trying to access the WiKi in a team results in a pop up  saying "This tab isn't ready to be viewed yet. Please check back later".

Clearing cache & data and then deleting/reinstalling the app makes no difference.

Anyone know of a fix. Rely heavily on the data in the WiKi and its a pain not having access when mobile.

I also delete data, cache, and even re-install and get the "This tab isn't ready to be viewed yet. Please check back later." message on my Samsung S10. I have tried it connected to the mobile network, my home wifi and my work wifi and get the same message, no matter what network I use.  I am able to access the tabs on my home wifi with the Windows 10 app and my work wifi with the Linux app.

You have exact same scenario as I do.

I also installed the app on a Nokia 8 I have and get exactly the same issue there. I therefore deleted Teams on my main phone and side loaded an older version of the app via APK Pure. It now works fine so confirms that this is clearly a bug introduced in the latest 2 versions of the app (I say two because there was a minor update last week that didn't fix it) and I guess we can only hope that the developers eventually see their mistake and fix it.

Goes to show that the dev team don't use the app themselves!

Hi Marvin

Is there any update on this issue?

My company have setup a few wiki section now and links to Sharepoint but none of the 30 Android tablets we use can access the wiki.

When will this be fixed for Android?

Many thanks!.
