Windows 10 preview and pen on Surface Pro 3 doesn't launch Onenote
I just installed the Windows 10 Tech Preview on top of my fully up to date Surface 3 Pro and noticed that the top button on the pen no longer launches OneNote. I re-paired the pen and reinstalled OneNote and it still doesn't launch. If I do launch OneNote
manually the pen works fine to draw in it. Any fix?
It sounds like you need a new AAAA battery. There are two batteries for the Surface Pen; the AAAA battery in the lower portion of the pen (this is for writing), and a smaller battery just below the Surface pen button on top (for One Note and screen captures).
The AAAA battery is a bit of a pain to find, but Amazon has them and I also found some in Home Depot (if you live in the US).
