What's all that junk which keeps popping up on the left side of the screen?

Attempted to play this game yesterday for the first time in months and still thought it was quite good but was rendered unplayable by all this rubbish about fanaticmodz.com or something on the left hand side of the screen. No matter how many games I tried it always seemed to keep appearing eventually. It's a joke, it makes it completely impossible to play properly.

ud better get used to it..its littered with modders..make sure you read about deranking on this cod4 forum or u wont be able even to get into a multpilayer game..all your playlists will be blank..just read the post on deranking..think its page 2 of this forum
