regular xbox game "serious sam" doesnt work?

I was told by xbox support that serious sam II for regular xbox, is not backwards compatible with the 360. But i was also told that I can find a xbox Update (I do have live so my 360 automatically updates) or a downloadable Patch so that the game will work.  My question is, where can I find this, and is it even possible?

 

Serious Sam 2 is not backward compatible and updates to the emulator were stopped a few years ago now so you're out of luck. Another thing you need for backward compatibility is the official hard drive since that has the emulator on it.

They may have been confuisng it with serious sam 1.

1 is backwards compatable, 2 isn't.

If you try to play #1 when connected to live, it will download the update for you.

If you try to play #2 when connected to live, it will simply say, something along the lines of "This game is not compatible"
