Problems with Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heros Download

Ok I had and old xbox 360 that stoped read discs. Bought a new xbox and Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes. Downloaded the Heroes and the Villians Packs. seemed like they were there. Its on my 360 but when I load a saved game none of the downloadable charcters are there. even tryed my other saved gemes. Why are they not saving?

try to delete the content and re-download the item through the marketplace then try to start a NEW game and see if they appear, if that doesn't work try re-downloading your gamer profile and see if the information syncs
