Cant play CoD Black ops online..

Hi there, got a problem with CoD I could use some help with..

I just bought Live gold membership in hope to play abit online, but everytime i enter the game and press multiplayer then choose Online or something like that it says my profile isnt allowed to play.

How come and how do I solve it?

How do I recover the account? the connection is fine, just downloaded all kinds of patches to my XBOX since it hasnt been plugged in to internet for a few years..

Can it have something to do with the fact that I bought Gold membership just 30 minutes ago? that CoD cant see it yet and therefore wont let me play online?

If you bought the membership via the website then that sounds like the problem since you're showing as gold on here. For some reason there's a delay between buying on the website and your console being told this information. You can speed it up by testing the connection or wait it out whichever you prefer.
