Things you have tried:  Resetting, unplugging everything

Is UPnP Enabled? : i believe so

Is NAT Type Open? : i believe its moderate because my ps3 says its moderate

Any Error Codes you encounter: i think it was W: 0000-0000 X: 0000-0000 Y: 0000-0000 Z: 0000-0000 (not 100% sure)

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G?  : DSL

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?  : Verizon

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? : cannot connect to network

Have you run the "Restore to factory defaults" function on your Xbox?   You might try that, then re-enter your wireless information into the Xbox and try connecting again.

Yep, if that still doesn't work make sure you have the latest firmware on the router, also try connecting (as  a test) with no wireless security configured on the router. Just to make sure that it will connect at all

restoring to factory default didn't work. i have to remember my password to login to my router settings to test my xbox without any security. i also inquired on the error message and it says

W: 0000-0000

X: 8000-0011

Y: 0000-0000

Z: 0000-0000

ID: FFFF-FFFF

i am unsure if that will help at all

No they only mean anything to support, next I would try with no security, if it doesn't work with no security you know it could be an incompatibility issue
